Our NEW HOUSE!!!!

So as most of you know, we are moving to Fort Bragg, North Carolina in March! After many years of living in military housing or renting, we've decided to take the plunge and buy a house! We will be in NC for up to 5 years and the interest rates are amazing, so it's the right time. Robby had to come to NC for work so Jaydn and I came with him and we've spent the last 4 days looking at houses. I have to say that looking at houses is exhausting! After three days Robby and I narrowed it down to two houses. They were both about the same price but in completely different locations...city vs. country. We ended up going with country/rural! We love this house.
There is only thing that I wish was different and that is that there isn't a room for the laundry, it's just a closet. But it will work!
We put an offer in on it today and they accepted. We are waiting until the end of February to close and will finally move in in March!

The front of the new house. Even has a front porch that my rocking chairs will go great in.

The entry way of the house! I LOVE this about this house!

And this is pretty much what sold me on this house! The kitchen is gorgeous!!!! To the right of the picture, where I am standing, there is another cabinet with the sink and dishwasher and a bar! Behind the bar is an eat in kitchen!

The living room. The kitchen open ups to the living room. it's a little bit small but very homey and cozy feeling.

The formal dining room that Robby hates. It's a point less room but we will use it as an office.

Walking up the stairs. Behind Robby is the bathroom, Jaydn's room, and the laundry closet. Behind where I am standing is the master bedroom and to my side are the two other bedrooms.

The master bath!

And this will be Jaydn's room. Ridiculous that this will be bigger than the master room. It's technically the bonus room but it will fit all of her crap!!!

Merry Christmas 2010!!

First, it was AMAZING to have daddy home for this Christmas, that was the greatest gift of all! We had a great day, even though this is the first year in 8 that we haven't been with family :(. We spent the day at home for the morning and then took dinner to our friends house that just had a baby two days ago. We played some Wii and had a great day!

Jaydn got a bike from Santa but she wasn't so sure about it at first. Before the snow started falling, daddy took her out to ride it and she did great! She like the bike now.

Thanks for the bear Gaga and Grandma Sharen. She is now sleeping soundly with it.

We offically have BEAVER fever at our house. She is currently wearing her PJ's and has worn something Justin ALL day.

Thanks Papa and Kathy!

Thanks Auntie Janice, Trav, and boys for the clothes. They look so warm.

Thanks guys!!! Robby is excited to find a place to hang his new wind chime.

Merry Christmas From BILLY!! He even got spoiled with his very own stocking and treats from Santa.

The aftermath. I'm still cleaning up, I think it will be like a 3 day project.

Well the snow started falling around 3ish and is suppose to continue until sometime tomorrow night. We are suppose to get anywhere between 5-10 inches. I'm happy for a white Christmas but really hope it clears up before we drive to North Carolina on Tuesday.

Merry Christmas to all our family and friends! We love and miss you all and hope you have a blessed year. Thank you for all the gifts but most importantly for your love and support!

OUR new car

So we got a new car! Totally not needed but this is the LAST car for a very long time. I love it. It's a 2010 Toyota Highlander Limited and we got a smokin' deal on it..otherwise there is no way we would have done it!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Happy Thanksgiving to our Family and Friends! We have so much to be thankful for this year, especially Robby being home with us to celebrate! It is always hard to be away from family during the holidays and that is hitting me pretty hard this year. This is the first year since 2002 that we haven't been with family during the holidays. We have great friends here though that we will be spending the day with (but they don't compare to being with family)!
Hope everyone enjoys their Turkey day. Eat lots, relax, love one another, and be grateful for what we all have!
With Love,
The Gabeharts

HAPPY 6TH BIRTHDAY BUG!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BUG!!!
It's so hard to believe that 6 years ago today Jaydn was born! She has been such a joy, even when she is sassy :)
We took her to Chuck E Cheese on Saturday to celebrate with a couple of her friends. She had a blast.

She LOVED this gift. She is in LOVE with Justin Bieber and said this was her best gift!

She was very nervous to meet Chuck E and kept asking when he was going to coming out. But when it came down to it, she wasn't afraid!

We LOVE YOU Bug!!!!!

Happy Halloween 2010!!!

Happy Halloween!
We had a great Halloween this year. Robby was home, which was the best part!

I can't even tell you how long Robby worked on the witch but it was a very long time. He did an amazing job though!

Snow White

A Bat

This pumpkin was also very cool!

Jaydn doesn't like the feel of the guts, but would clean out the pieces that dropped in after we carved them. At least she would do that!

Daddy is so scary!

After a long debate with Jaydn of whether I could decorate the front yard or not, she agreed to let me do it. She is afraid but it didn't bother her as much as she thought it would. There was one kid that she was afraid of and 2 houses. Not too bad. But she did play the "my tummy doesn't feel good, I want to sleep with you" game last night. She slept on our floor!

Even Billy was a part of the fun!

Jaydn the cop, with her 2 criminals--Daddy and Billy!

The criminal and his vampire!

Bug and Daddy

She made the cutest little police officer! I loved it!

BOATING

A few weeks ago we finally got the boat out onto the river! It was a beautiful day but the river is very SHALLOW. At some points, only 1.5 feet deep. The river's depth is dependant on the tide of the ocean, weird, so it varies. But the river is gorgeous and it was fun!
