Junior

 JUNIOR!
Who is Junior you might ask? Well let me tell you! On a Friday Jaydn had told us about this blue bird that she had seen on the window. We don't have a ledge on the window so I figured she was making up stories. On Sunday morning I got up with her to give her breakfast and who was there waiting for us......

 JUNIOR!!!!
He was holding on to the screen looking in waiting for her. For some reason he lets her get close and she can sit there and eat her breakfast but if Robby and I get close he flies away. He doesn't go far though. He flies from the window to the deck which is to the right of the picture, to the bird feeder which is in front of the window. He does fly bys to see if anyone is sitting there. If no one is there, he stops to look in!
Sunday he wouldn't stop hitting the window and Jaydn was gone at a friends so Robby had to close the blind for him to go away. The slats were still opened a bit and he could peek in. He's the funniest little bird ever. Even though I fear and have a strong dislike for birds, I think it's very cool that he is hanging out.

Junior has apparently become a member of the family, one that Billy would love to get his paws on!

Fishing Trip, Florida 2012

What an amazing time Robby and I had in Florida! I'm so glad that I convinced him to go! Jaydn wanted to fly by herself so we put her on a plane to Gaga's to spend the week of Spring Break, which she loved! THANK YOU guys for letting her come. Robby and I took the opportunity to go on a mini-vacation just the two of us. It had been a really long time since we had done anything so it was amazing to get away. Robby had always wanted to go red fishing in Mosquito Lagoon in Florida. So that's what we did. We hired a guide to take us out and what an amazing time we had. The weather was perfect and the fishing was AWESOME. We caught 22 fish. Robby took the award for the first and the most caught. I took the award for the biggest at 20 pounds.

This is one of our 7 doubles that we caught.

It was nice to watch the sun rise! Just on the other side of the land is the ocean!

Me trying to get in one of my fish. I think this is the first one I caught.

My 20 pound Red Fish. I took me forever to get him in. Everytime he would get close to the boat, he would take off again!

The water in the lagoon for was no more than 3 feet deep!

Robby would have gotten the award for most spots as well!
We can't wait to do it again and would love to go in September when the Tarpin are running!

SKIING

I know it's been a REALLY long time since I posted anything and I apologize. In January we went on a family ski trip to the mountains of North Carolina. We went from an elevation of 230 to over 5000! My ears did not appreciate the change! They actually got a little bit of snow but they were still having to make snow at the slopes. Robby and I have both decided that it makes it much harder to ski in man made snow than in the real stuff but it was still a blast.
Jaydn did AMAZINGLY awesome!!! She was afraid of the lift but rocked at all of it. I really wish that I could have been able to go when I was that age, she literally had no fear.
We put her in a ski class. She was in there for a 3 hours and was a pro after that. She scared me. Robby helped her go down the hill the first time and by the second time she wanted to do it all on her home. When she wanted to stop she would just lay back. So proud of her!!

This picture was of the mountain that we were staying on. We actually skiied at a different mountain. But this gives you a perspective of how high up we were!

Can't wait for next year!
