Happy Halloween
Happy Halloween everyone! Jaydn and I had a good time tonight. I have to say that this was the most disappointing Halloween by far. Hardly anyone was handing out candy or had signs that said, Sorry no candy. I'm sorry but you live on a military post with kids everywhere, is it too much to ask that you hand out candy. Anyhow, we still had a good time and Jaydn was ready to be done and hand out candy. Billy even helped but he didn't appreciate all the people in masks and was a little protective of his girls when men came to the door! I carved 5 pumpkins this year and Jaydn couldn't understand why we couldn't have more...my hand was sore after doing all of these. Can't wait until next year when daddy can be here and we can all dress up again!

FRIENDS
Jaydn got to enjoy a very special treat this weekend. Her best friend(from Kansas :)), Sienna, came down with her mom on Friday night and stayed with us until Saturday evening. Jaydn and Sienna hadn't seen each other in a while so it was nice for them to get together and play. When they got to our house Jaydn went flying out the door and ran to give Sienna a hug, it was so cute. They had a grea time playing together. When Sienna and Shannon had to leave, both Sienna and Jaydn were crying. I'm so thankful that they still live close enough that we can go visit from time to time.

SUNFLOWERs!!
Jaydn and I decided to go out today and take some pictures. I really want to find a patch of HUGE sunflowers, but I have to go west for that. Maybe next weekend! My good camera wasn't working so I used this one but was able to still capture some good pictures. Jaydn wasn't cooperating very well either..dang it.

See ya in a year :(
as most of you know, robby left today for his 12 month 'vacation' to the sand box! it's been a long time coming, but i don't think it makes it any easier. we had a great last weekend together and had a lot of fun. we had to take him in very very early this morning. jaydn did amazing well and didn't shed a tear, which i think really helped robby and i to do better. although, as robby was leaving she told him,"daddy, you will always be in my heart". i haven't stopped crying today, just about anything will get me going. i'll feel sorry for myself today and then pick myself up tomorrow and move on. jaydn and i have to make the most of having daddy gone and living our life. everyone always says that the second deployment is easier, and while that may be true, the departure was much harder this time. robby and i have an amazing relationship and i love him more than anything in the world. letting go was very difficult. however, we can now start the countdown to having him home again and starting a new journey. thank you to everyone who loves and supports us...you will help us to get through this difficult time and we are truly blessed to have you in our lives. we have some amazing friends and family, both here and in idaho!!! i will keep everyone posted and post pictures as i get them!
