Wedding Invite photo shoot

i forgot to put this one in the first time. however, you can tell that robby is being his typical self....and he loves messing with sandra. maybe he should go into modeling.

Robby and I have decided to renew our vows this summer while we are in Idaho!!! So we wanted to have our pictures done to send out as invites. My great friend Sandra, who likes to take pictures and do hair, said she would help us out. So on a very windy(it's Kansas and you can't get away from the wind) Friday evening we decided to head out and take some pictures. The night was full of bloopers and funny moments!

Here I am with crazy hair. Jaydn saw it and started yelling at me. She hated it. I told her to stop yelling at me and if she didn't have anything nice to say, then she needed to leave. So she left and a couple moments later I could hear her crying. So as you can see I'm trying to comfort her. I told her that mommy's hair wasn't going to stay that way...are you sure mommy??? She had a very emotional week last week.

Here's one of the 3 of us. Jaydn wanted to be included in the pictures but she was being a total goof, typical Bug.

I love this picture!

I also love this one....water seems to be a major part of our life...if only there was a big fish in it!

I do have to tell you about the bloopers though. After we did the water shoot we were getting into the car. Sandra's kids, Cody and Jessica, came with us. Sandra was getting them into the back of the Highlander and Robby was talking on his military cell as she was trying to get into the car. He apparently thought she was already in the car and started to leave. I told him that she wasn't in yet and he told me to hush...guess someone important was on the other end. So I thought he was just being a smart ass and pretending to leave Sandra...until he kept going. I finally yelled at him and he finally realized that she really wasn't in the car.
Our second blooper, which was more embarassing for me, took place at the other place. We had 37 MPH winds that night and I wore a dress...I guess I was asking for it. So as Robby and I are standing in front of a church on one of the main streets in Manhattan, the wind catches my dress and sends it flying up to my face. Luckily I caught it but not before Sandra got an eye full and a picture of it. We had a great time and am thankful for Sandra for doing us a huge favor.

random stuff

Ok, so I have to tell you the story behind the Rhino. This is the 'rhino', thank goodness, but you will get the picture. So the very last rhino in the cages did not like me, at all. He would back up and charge the cage right in front of me. Had it been this rhino, I probably would have had a horn in my stomach. If i moved out of the holding area, he would stop charging and was happy. As soon as I came back in, he would lower his head, glare at me, and CHARGE. At first I thought it was a fluke, but he kept on doing it. I decided to leave and quickly.

i didn't have enough 'umph' to spin myself all the way around but i thought it was a cool picture

she loves to go around and around and around...makes me dizzy just to watch her

it amazes me daily how big she is getting. i bought her a dress yesterday that is a size 5...i'm not ready

here is jaydn at tumbling. it was funny because after this, we had to go home and practice..she wanted mommy and daddy to do it to..amazingly i could do it.

A PINK Easter

Easter this year was great. Robby was home which was nice and Jaydn got to color Easter eggs for the first time!
We were shocked that Jaydn didn't want all of her eggs to be pink and the first one she colored was blue!
They are so cute together

Mommy and Jaydn being silly

Looking to see where the Easter Bunny left here basket. She would have been shocked if it was really in there

The Easter Bunny must love PINK as much as Jaydn because that's all he brought. everything you see was from the bunny...got to love the bunny

Jaydn and PAPA!

Papa finally came for a visit. He hasn't been here since Robby returned from Iraq last year. He and Jaydn had a blast. One lady even said, I don't know who is more goofy...him or her! They didn't stop the entire week. I'm sure that Papa was happy to get home and have some rest. I needed a break too, Jaydn didn't calm down the entire time he was here. It was great to have him here and we look forward to the next trip.

Here is Jaydn and Papa at the Salina Zoo. We were one of five families at the entire zoo. It was nice.

Jaydn wanted to know what everything on the tractor did...and who better to have as a teacher than Papa.

Here they are in the backyard fighting with cardboard sticks. Amazing that noone got hurt.

Jaydn read to Papa while he tried to nap.

priceless! there is nothing like the love of a papa and a little girl who adores him. thanks for coming to see us papa...can't wait to see you in idaho in june.
